it's not just limited to species choice and color!
These types of toons play differently than most, and I'd like to go over them, here!
The many Types of "gag-less" Toons!
"what exactly *is* a "gag-less" Toon?"
in short, 'gag-less toon' is a term that refers to which gags a Toon doesn't have access to.
the main types of gag-less toons are as followed:
toonup-less, trap-less, lure-less, sound-less, and drop-less!
these are the typical types of gag-less Toons, but there are also a few subtypes,
such as throw-less, and squirt-less, as an example.
"How do I choose to be throw/squirt-less?"
simply put: the easiest way is to level up squirt to lv3, and throw to lv5, then stop carrying them altogether.
these level choices are important, because the main story requires you to have lv3 squirt and lv5 throw at certain points.
I think the Sellbot HQ expansion requires lv4 squirt, but I am not 100% certain.
however, if you are an Uber, which we'll get into soon, this isn't really required, as far as i know.
in other words, you can keep them at lv1, if you play on an uber toon, and really want to!
Uber Toons!
The term Uber refers to a Toon who has low Laff, but high level gags.
There are quite a few types and variants, which we will go into here!
Typical Uber Toons:
Two-Gag Uber: these Toons typically have 15-20 laff, and have maxed throw and squirt.
Three-Gag Uber: these Toons typically have 25-30 laff, and have maxed throw, squirt, and a third gag, either sound or toonup.
Four-Gag Uber: these Toons typically are around 34-39 laff, and have maxed throw, squirt, and two other gags. (sound, toonup, lure or drop)
Sellbot Uber: a term used for Ubers who primarily focus on maxing their Sellbot suits.
Unconventional Ubers!
This term typically refers to players with unconventional setups,
such as a 140 laff toon who carries mostly lv1 or lv2 gags.
Types of Unconventional Ubers:
Reverse Uber / Anti-Uber: Considered the antonym of traditional ubers, these toons carry low level gags, but are high laff. (i.e. 140laff, lv2 gags)
Tanks: These ubers are similar to regular ubers, low-laff but high gags, except with laff boosts from side activities, rather than exclusively from bosses.
Cashbot Uber: Toons around 76-80 Laff, with a maxed sellbot suit, and a maxed cashbot suit.
Multi Tooners
Multi Tooners, or Multi Tooning, is a term used for players who control multiple Toons at once.
"how do you Multi Toon?"
there are a few ways, but the most common requires the following:
-a somewhat decent PC
-a multi tooning program, such as the Toontown Multicontroller, by danfresneda.
-multiple accounts, as logging into the same one at the same time will disconnect you from the game.
the instructions are on the Multicontroller's website, but it may still take some time to get used to.
once you do, though, it can be a fun way to experience the game!
i've even done solo runs with toons of mine, although that is much more difficult.
